Vern Riffe Center for the Arts
The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts located on the campus of Shawnee State University, is a $16.5 million 102,000 square foot arts complex that opened in November 1995. The extensive studio and rehearsal spaces are home to the university's bachelor of fine arts programs and performing arts classes. SSU and SOPAA's regional concert series that features national touring Broadway theater and some of the biggest names in jazz, big band, dance, folk, dramatic arts, and pop music takes place in the 1139-seat theatre.
