Township Owned Resources

• A community park which hosts a shelterhouse, lighted tennis and basketball courts, and a baseball/softball diamond, with future plans for a tot-lot playground. The park is free to residents on a first come - first serve basis.
• A community building that is available to residents for family reunions, weddings, baby showers, birthday parties and other gatherings. This building is very popular and requires a reservation. Seats 125. More info call 740-858-4777.
• The Township also provides the buildings and equipment to outfit the Volunteer Fire and paid/volunteer EMS services for its residents.

Community Involvement

• Once a year, the Township provides, at no cost to residents, dumpsters for their use. This is known as "Spring Clean-Up".
• Nile Township is the only township in Scioto County that produces a newsletter that is sent out to residents on a quarterly basis.
